On April 24, 1916, members of the Irish Republican Brotherhood, the Irish Volunteer Force and the Irish Citizen Army marched down Sackville Street in Dublin and took over the General Post Office (GPO) as their headquarters. This began the Easter Rising rebellion to end British rule and establish an independent Irish republic.
Join us at the pub on Wednesday, April 27 as we toast the 100 year anniversary of the event that led to Ireland's independence six years later.
Proper pints of Irish beers (Guinness, Harp Lager and Smithwick's) will be $5 and we'll also have $5 Irish whiskeys (Jameson, Paddy's and Tullamore Dew) available.
We'll have a toast at 7pm to signify the end of 700 years of British rule in Ireland.
We hope you'll join our family at the pub and allow us to share a bit of our Irish history with you.
